Series Single Channel Module (Vibration)

The Mechanalysis Model MIL8710 Series Module provides single channel vibration monitoring using a suitable sensor. The large linear scale meter is provided for Analog indication on the front panel.

All controls for setup and operation are accessible from the front panel. ALARM and TRIP set points adjustments are concealed under the machine/sensor identification plate

Solid state ALARM and TRIP push buttons / LED lamps (amber and red) provide three basic functions: a visual indication when a preset vibration level has been exceeded, to reset the relays and push to read and adjust the set points.

A portable Vibration Analyser / Balancer or an oscilloscope may be connected to the BNC signal output for diagnosing machinery problems and for in place dynamic balancing.

The input signal is continuously monitored to ensure that the sensor, interconnecting cables and the module are each functionally correct and its healthiness is indicated by the green OK LED light provided on the front panel.

The MIL8710 series of Single Channel Vibration Monitoring Module (Vibration) measures in ‘microns’ or ‘mm/sec’ or ‘g’ depending on the sensor selected. These are summarised against the part numbers given in the table below. While placing the order, the client must specify the listed part number or specify the required unit and full scale range.
